Why 200ms?

Blog’s name stands for 200 milliseconds – the average duration of an eye blink. The idea was inspired by work on web performance optimization – the goal was to make websites load almost instantaneously. A 200ms threshold is a great benchmark, as load times below this level feel seamless to users, with no noticeable delay. 200ms stands for speed, optimization, and responsiveness.
